The second kind of slogan most often used in presidential

I can hear the remarks of the crowd in a year or two; nothing new there either just the old familiar promises, promises, promises.

ObamaA Day Late and a Dollar Short. Slogans and campaign spins are as old as this country. The slogan If the Evidence Doesnt Fit You Must Acquit was repeated hundreds of times to jurors who may have struggled with the complexities of DNA evidence but were prone to latch on to the Johnny Cochrans catchy slogan with ease. Barack Obamas Its Our Time for Change echoes both the 1976 campaign of Jimmy Carter A Leader, For a Change and Walter Mondales America Needs a Change in 1984. Now we are asked to believe that he will follow with only useful choices that are for the good of the country.

It is not what Obama wants to change that worries many Americans It is what he refuses to change that is their greatest concern. One of the most memorable times at that school was during the weekly chapel services. I could feel the energy rising as the crowd cheered but the emotional side of me gave way to the more rational and analytical and I wondered what change he was specifically speaking of. Warren Harding used the slogan Return to Normalcy in the 1920 race. The second kind of slogan most often used in presidential campaigns is a call for change or a whole new start. To the chagrin of both outlaw and innocent that slogan cost the lives of hundreds. His refusal to put an end to over 1,000,000 abortions a year and coddling up to the gay minorities at the expense of traditional families and marriage is whats got them worried. Hasnt anyone noticed none of these things has ever materialized? Schools are breeding grounds for drugs immorality and violence; taxes are higher than at any time in our history and universal health care in America is a lumbering threat to our faltering economy that nothing can resolve. In 1864 Lincolns bid for the presidency used the slogan Dont Swap Horses in the Middle of the Stream.

In fact he demanded it. Yet another familiar slogan covers that kind of reasoning in Mr. This is a change that America and any nation still needs today. John Kerry used Let America be America Again in 2004 and who will ever forget Ronald Reagans Are You Better off Than You Were Four Years Ago in 1980. Cantilever Gate Wheel In the Carter campaign of 1976 the slogan that seemed best to fit Jimmy Carters down home Southerner image was Not Just Peanuts Who can forget Herbert Hoovers A Chicken in Every Pot in the election of 1928. The reason by which we conclude that a mans moral views wont infringe upon his ability to be a good leader is itself seriously flawed.

No one has ever inquired villas at those remote areas

Whilst it did not have luxurious amenities like TV, AC, or hot water, it is nice and clean, but the more impressive thing of friendliness of the staffs treating guests like old friends. However, the point was that the he offered package of daily diving to various diving spots in the area to guest renting his villa. Boat parked just in front of the villa to transfer you to chosen diving spots. No one has ever inquired villas at those remote areas. The stairway next to the front door leaded to a hall at the upper floor, which housed all the remaining three bedrooms. This new road ended just a few kilometers away from Padang Bai, the main ferry port to Lombok which was very close to Candidasa.

It was simply just like a question of who came to earth first between a hen and an egg. His invitation to visit his new villa was really appealing. But Wayan, his right-hand aide would do his best to pamper your stay in and out of the villa, on the surface or underwater. He should be away when you stay at his villa. At the opposite of the swimming pool, very close to the beach was a garden gazebo. The traditional fish-market which was the entrance to Amed was reached within less than two hours. The new bypass connecting Sanur to the East has now been completed. On the right hand side was a dining table and fully equipped kitchen. Turning right from the fish market, I just followed the road along the beach. It proved that there were certain holiday makers who are interested in off-the-beaten-track areas. Entering the gate, narrow pathway leaded to the house through soothing freshwater pond full of koi fishes. Everything remained the same, nothing seemed to change compared to my previous visit almost two Sliding gate track years back. It was a really sleepy fishing village with only a few modest accommodations available. A few days back, we rented out a villa Talia Vasthi at Candidasa for two weeks.

But I was calculating about the chance that we can rent it out to our mostly Seminyak-minded clientele, and the time I had to spend to pay a visit. For lovers of underwater world, the treasure was hiding under the calm surface. Built on roughly 5,000 square meters of land, it has spacious parking space at the front. The road hiked-up again after the house, so it was in between the two hills. The two smaller guest bedrooms enjoyed either one views, a bedroom enjoyed the ocean views while the other enjoyed the mountain views. I would personally suggest that he owned it more for his personal enjoyment than to deliver decent income. The main door opened directly to the living area opening to spacious terrace at the back, overlooking the beach through its indigo swimming pool. However, the master bedroom had a wide LCD-TV. Both views are magnificent, however, after a while stunning at the ocean views I found the mountain more appealing. So decision was made, I would drive east to meet Scott at his villa. The almost three hours drive was completely paid off with the good time I had. With the distance to travel to get there, they are not really took tourists attention unless those seasoned scuba divers. All bedrooms had adjoined western en-suite with bath-tub and running hot water. No other holiday rental agency listed villas outside the greater South, literally means close to Seminyak.I am not a diver myself, however, about two years back, just out of being curious, I spent a weekend at Amed. I stayed at a very modest bungalow called Three Brothers, less than $8 for an absolute beachfront bungalow with private bath. There was nothing to notice until the road hiked up hill and sloped back down, I saw a big house on the beach. I felt this occasion like a moment to clear the cloud out. A small pathway leaded to a small door to the beach where hundred of traditional boat decently parked nest to each other.

On the left hand side was a huge LCD-TV with state of the art sound systems equipped the living area furnished with modern comfortable couches. Even my cell-phone, subscribed to the widest network provider, could not get a signal. Just a few weeks back we got in touch with Scott, a Seattle based American furniture exporter, who has just completed a beachfront villas at Amed. Casual divers mostly went to Sanur or Tanjung Benoa on the greater South, minutes away from the Airport. I was surprised that things have been progressing quite quickly. It cut out the traffic hassle at Batubulan, Celuk, Sukawati, Gianyar, and Klungkung. Amed and Tulamben on the East coast of Bali, with their crystal clear waters and the Liberty ship-wreck, have been famous as divers paradise for years. Scott, the owner, was a well-seasoned scuba diver who managed a diving operator in addition to his main furniture business. Functional minimalist furnishing suggested the guest to enjoy outdoor living. That was the reason why you could rent his villa anyway, because he left the villa vacant while he was away, either taking care of his business or dive other underwater treasures in the other sides of the globe. Only a few minutes over one hour I have passed Tirtagangga. They even started construction to make it four ways instead of two. At the same floor there were a study room with a double bed, and a private home gym with complete set of body-building equipment and a mini-pool table. While the upstairs balcony offered spacious space gazing at the stunning views, the downstairs terrace offered even more space for more purposes, with large daybeds, lounging chairs, and dining table. The spacious master bedrooms enjoyed both ocean views in one side and mountain views in the other side.

In a BCS system where you have nearly a full Delphi approach

Hmm, maybe they are on to something. President, as you have publicly stated on multiple occasions, the BCS system is in dire need of reform, If the government can look at the concentration of money in railroads, telecommunications and software developers, then why not the big business of college sports in America? In a BCS system where you have nearly a full Delphi approach from coaches and pollsters and then add in a computer statistical model the computer gets blamed! No wonder software estimates are so mistrusted. The winner of this game is named the BCS national champion. And like a software estimate its been almost as popular! The BCS computer solution was suppose to be so simple; let the computer pick the best option using statistics, add a dash erudite pontification (pollsters), stir in a seasoned splash of professional gesticulation (Coaches) and voila an estimate of the two best teams in college football! Yes indeed, that sounds exactly like a software estimate! The BCS scoring process uses a combination of computer tabulations and two disparate polls to determine team interim rankings, and then to identify the best two college football teams to play the BCS National Championship Game. Without all the teams considered without all the weightings of records and wins and without all the scores somehow magically factored no one will ever be happy. Wow thats similar to software estimation speak.

In fact, in October of 2009, when his school was excluded from a previous year BCS bowl game, Senator Orrin Hatch, of Utah, said in a 10 page letter to President Obama calling for an antitrust probe of the BCS. Kind of like a software estimate that ignores history and trends. But, since a gazillion dollars depends upon those bragging rights the Bowl Champion Series (BCS) was invented. Has anyone considered this? The BCS by default was flawed. While everyone knows that a parametric model is essential to making a reasonable software cost estimate it is nearly always often overridden by the objections of senior management who wish to also override those pesky optimistic programmers. For the BCS we pick the best gate attraction (income) and post bowl game extravaganza! Identify the Platform and Application, factor in the size, calculate industry averages, sieve through the parametric settings, insert Monte Carlo simulation, offset for risk confidence and schedule probability, (Parametric estimate 1/3) What do the people in the trenches think? (Coaches Poll Gear Rack suppliers 1/3) Drop highest and lowest ranking of each team divide by 100, for maximum possible points (Computer rankings 1/3).

It was with this disconcerting thread of historical data weaving

The fiesta known as San Fermin, a seven day celebration deeply rooted in tradition, is held annually the first week of July in northern Spain. It was with this disconcerting thread of historical data weaving through my road weary head, that I circumspectly stepped down from the bus one pristine evening, into the quaint, and sleepy village known as Pamplona. With one long last pull from the wine bag, I resolved to scoff in the face of danger, and like a dauntless matador about to enter the arena, I cast my fate to the Mediterranean wind.. They appeared as apprehensive and fearful as ourselves, and I secretly hoped that through some inexplicable means of cerebral transference, we Gear Rack suppliers would establish telepathic agreement to stay as far away from each other as possible during the impending ordeal.. I knew intuitively that my first (and possibly last) quixotic quest before entering the realm of academia, would be to run with the bulls in the famous summer festival of Pamplona, Spain... kensho. With a profound sense of relief, I spotted the tattered wooden doors of the stadium, when without warning I was flung violently to the ground from behind, overtaken by the onrushing vortex of pandemonium vehemently intent on bursting through the small gridlocked opening that constituted the entryway.

Propelled onward by a flush of panic induced adrenalin, I suddenly found myself running not from the beasts, but among them. Running surrealistically amidst the advancing horde, I instinctively strived to remain upright, and as far away as possible from the the myriad of horns that encirled me.com/, which features Australian outback clothing. The next morning I and my comrades began the day in the manner that anyone facing almost certain death would . I found myself sharing a room with three sleep deprived revelers, who having arrived a day earlier, enthusiastically briefed me on the previous nights activity, which consisted primarily of inhaling massive quantities of vino from a goatskin bag, the erubescent liquid invariably cascading profusely down their white linen shirts. Standing nebulously inert among the dispersing crowd, I was overcome by the realization that I was still physically intact, still breathing the crisp morning air. Countless nights I listened fervently to his tales of Spain, and of the splendor and pageantry of the bullfights that his hero, Ernest Hemingway, had immortalized through his prose. Arriving a day before the official start of the festival, I was hard pressed to find a room anywhere, and finally with luck stumbled upon a run down hotel on the outskirts of town, where an assortment of like-minded adventurers had gathered together in camaraderie born of necessity.I was 18 years old when I made the decision to take the summer off before entering what I imagined to be four years of incarceration in university, and thus set out in search of an adventure so compelling, it would sustain me through the tedious and interminable life of a student. Like the multitude of madmen before me, I had run with the bulls of Pamplona, and survived to tell the tale.

A moment so firmly entrenched in the present, that all mundane concerns of past and future concede to to the all encompassing now. Looking fondly back on that time, I recall a sea of scarlet clad men careening through the village streets in a state of exultation, no doubt a result of the generous amount of libation consumed, but more importantly, because they were young and carefree, passionately embracing the ephemeral, bittersweet joy of their youth.. Upon the release of the formidable creatures, I remember sprinting blindly forward down the antediluvian road, my one consuming thought that of reaching the distant ring, where those who successfully finished the course would be granted a seat to the afternoon bullfights. I was stunned by their stupendous size and obvious strength, and realized, that as my sister had so adamantly informed me of the day I left, I truly must be insane to contemplate such an endeavor... we drank as much wine as possible. My inspiration to make the journey stemmed from my father, who as a poet, writer, and avid traveler, had instilled in me a burning desire to explore the vagarious, exotic world of a rover. It's most characteristic event, the "encierro", or running of the bulls, is a bizarre and ostentatious display of machismo bravado.

The spectacle is promptly initiated each morning by fireworks, proclaiming bulls have been released from their pens to run freely through the barricaded streets of the village to the nearby arena.. Since its inception in the 13th century, (when butchers hurried slightly in front of bulls being led to auction to ensure themselves a choice place in the bidding), several people have been killed, and hundreds of others seriously injured... Audacious thrill seekers test their courage by running ahead of the stampeding herd, often with disastrous results.. A conglomeration of thrashing legs, arms, and gleaming sweat laden bull flesh had somehow intertwined, generating a pulsating throng of spasmodic motion that thundered along the narrow cobblestone passageways in a frenetic state of terror, aggregated with an emotion that can only be described as. Noticing a momentary breach in the deluge, I swiftly passed through the paltry aperture into the relative safety of the ring. euphoric.. With a sense of dread and exhilaration in equal measure, we made our way to the threshold of the village's makeshift corral, where secured behind a massive wooden gate stood a legion of ominous looking bulls. With a steady clicking of hooves resounding inches from my ears, I sprung to my feet in a desperate attempt to reach the sanctuary of the arena

On top of that they add very heavy medallions

Some of the neck chains that they wear must be extremely uncomfortable since they look to be vastly heavy. When they wanted to purchase something, they merely slipped off a coin from the necklace and paid for the goods at hand. Even in Roman times, the leaders of the day would not allow commoners to wear this kind of jewelry.
That is, it looked like the old farm gates with several cross pieces. Wouldnt it be great if this happened these days? No more dieting to get into wedding dresses! These days the fashion for wearing gold jewelry has not abated by one iota.Away from these extremes though, many people love to add a tasteful touch of gold to an outfit to set off the whole look. The necklace does have an ancient Roman look about it though and the style looks great set against a filmy and floaty dress in the Roman style. To stop the accidental loss of these wonderful pieces by the catch coming undone, a small length of very fine chain was attached to the two open ends of the bracelet allowing enough room to slip it over the hand but not enough that it could just fall off the wrist easily. . Some ancient cultures bought wives by weighing them against gold and this then became the dowry paid to the brides family.

Some years ago gold bracelets came in the form of gate styles.Gold bracelets come in many different designs. From these times came the saying that he is worth his weight in gold. This may also have brought about the feeding houses where prospective brides were fattened up for marriage in preparation for the weighing ceremony. This was a very clever innovation that saved a lot of tears in those days!It seems that every other day, new designs are coming out. In those ancient times, coins strung on necklaces were a handy way to transport wealth along with the owner while making them look good at the same time. Some people would rather go for the earrings, bracelets and necklace combo and think that this is more than enough. This style seems to emulate the Roman style discussed earlier and it has become somewhat of a fashion Post Cap manufacturers statement amongst those who are invited onto the red carpet.

Some ladies with larger hands find it difficult to slide the bracelet over the knuckles but clever designers have come up with a great solution. The solid cuff style suits a lot of people, men included, and can be plain or patterned depending on the taste of the wearer. What is it about this yellow metal that makes men fight, shows them to be greedy sometimes, and makes them covet what is just a piece of metal?Well, since the days of the pharaohs, when gold was only for those with royal blood, man has wanted to keep the precious metal for himself. Some gold bracelets are made with stones, both precious and semi precious, to add a little sparkle to the whole look. The more gold a man or his wife wore denoted their place in society so the poorer people would not, or could not, wear it.

These coins were sometimes strung on necklaces for women to wear and this style is still alive today, albeit that the coins are not in circulation.Indeed, coins were first minted in gold and silver, with the heads of the relevant king or queen in power at the time as a promise to pay the amount attributed to the weight of the coin. These individual gates were then attached together to form a lovely design that became very popular. How romantic was that? Today though, the stones are more than likely added just to give an extra touch of color to the finished product. Of course, it depended on how many cross pieces there were, and how thick the gold was, to denote the cost of the finished article. A few extra pounds meant a lot more wealth for the family. It was once thought that pearls were bad luck but in this day and age, many people love to have gold bracelets with pearls embedded in them. This means that the man had so much gold in his coffers that it literally weighed as much as he did. While many think that less is more there are schools of thought that say that several chains should or could be worn at once to enhance the look.

Toned arms are necessary for this style otherwise the worlds eyes will be drawn to floppy skin which is certainly not the desired effect that anyone would want to give. For younger ladies the bracelets worn high up the arm between elbow and shoulder, set off a beautifully toned arm. Pearls seem to suit all skin tones and, added to the gold setting, make wonderful gifts particularly for weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. Indeed the hip hop artists have brought about a fashion to wear as much gold or bling as possible to make a conspicuously wealthy statement. This not only gave everyone a common currency, it also spread the fame of the ruler far and wide within the designated country. The gold bracelet is hinged to allow for it to be opened thus allowing many more people to wear it.Gold has some wonderful properties that has kept man fascinated for thousands of years. On top of that they add very heavy medallions or pendants and the whole thing normally sits down to about waist level. Even chains at one time were used for the same purpose and each link had a specific weight stamped on it so that the buyer and seller could agree on the value with ease.
